A calming treatment for head, neck, and shoulders to ease tension

1 hTara Wellness

Service Description

Indian Head Massage is a restorative therapy with roots in the Ayurvedic tradition, offered to support relaxation, reduce tension, and encourage balance within the body and mind. It focuses on the head, scalp, neck, shoulders, and upper back, areas commonly affected by stress, posture, and mental fatigue. At Tara Wellness, this treatment is approached with both clinical awareness and holistic care. Techniques are adapted to your individual needs, comfort level, and presenting concerns, creating a supportive environment for the nervous system to settle and the body to release accumulated tension. What the Treatment Involves The session uses a combination of rhythmic movements, gentle to moderate pressure, and targeted techniques applied to the scalp, neck, shoulders, and upper back. These techniques aim to ease muscular tightness, promote circulation, and support a sense of calm and clarity. Indian Head Massage may be provided seated or lying down, depending on your preference and clinical considerations. Potential Benefits: * Reduce tension in the neck, shoulders, and scalp * Support stress reduction and nervous system regulation * Ease tension-related headaches and eye strain * Improve circulation to the scalp and surrounding tissues * Encourage mental clarity, relaxation, and improved sleep Many clients experience a sense of lightness and ease following treatment, with benefits that may extend beyond the session itself.
